Review: headlight lens restoration kit

The headlight lenses on my 99 SE-L were so cloudy that I could barely see the actual bulb through them. Even though the car is only 3.5 years old, it has 95K miles on it and the lenses have lots of scratches on them from all the highway driving. I wanted to find a way to polish out the cloudiness and scratches and I finally found a product that works.
I bought this kit:
Lens polishing kit
I followed the instructions to the letter (it was really simple) and the results were amazing. I drove the car tonight after doing this and with my Sylvania SilverStar bulbs the light output was so much brighter than before I honestly thought something was wrong with my lights!
I've attached a picture of the lens after polishing and you can see that it's pretty clear. I wish I had taken a "before" picture, but I was really jones'n to get started on the polishing.

This kit is well worth the $30 if you're headlight lenses are cloudy and scratched like mine were.

It's a plastic polish

You apply the plastic polish with the high-speed of the drill and it works awesome. Check the link that I included in the original post for more technical information on the polish itself. I have Meguiars plastic polish and I polish my windows (by hand up until now) with it and it takes the hard-water stains off and makes them look like new. I'll give them a go with the drill trick tomorrow night.

Sounds to me like it removes material. Basically like buffing a shine into paint.
