prob with JIM Wolf air intake/ambient temp snsr?

I have the stillen pop charger air intake which was an easy install. I went to install a friends Jim Wolf pop intake and there is no port for the ambient air temp sensor? The instructions say to attach to bracket. Is that safe? has any one done this?

as I understand it the intake temp sensor measures the temperature of the air (duh!) as it first comes into the intake, and then compares it to another reading taken at the MAF. as long as the two numbers are pretty close together the ECU won't throw any codes.

so basically just zip-tie or attach it next to the cone and you should be okay.

I can't find the pic right now, but I slid the sensor inside the intake.

Loose enough so that it wouldn't be sitting directly against the filter, but not so loose that it would bounce around everywhere.
