I haven't read about any bees in a can sound from Budget. It is basically the same pipe for much less. You can't really beat $160 shipped. Mine is in the mail as we speek. I am having it put on at Maximum Tuning on Saturday, I'll let you know how it is.

i'm guessin since ur havin someone put it on for u that it has to be welded on? i was hopin to find one that i could install myself (bolt-on). but if i save that much on budget i guess i could spend a few extra $$ on havin it put on.

ypipes bolt on, no welding required.
budget pipes are worth the money, i have slight bees in can, but cant go wrong for $160 shipped. wsp pipes are reliable as well from what i hear.. run a search and you will find what you need.

I went with Warpspeed because I thought it was a decent price for great quality. If you aren't too pressed for funds, I'd go with the Warpspeed.

The install was a pain, however. Not because of the new y-pipe. It was because the bolts to the cat were so corroded. I had to cut them off. But the fitment and install of the Warpspeed y-pipe was nearly perfect. No problems whatsoever!

That's total BS. Don't listen to comments like that. Actually if you do a search, you will find that people have had fitment problems with every brand Y-pipe, but Stillen and Cattman had a problem with their flex sections on their Y-pipes. (Cattman redesigned, Stillen did not)

I had/have no problems with my WSP Y pipe, and there are quite a few people around here with them as well. Same goes for Budget. Do more searches on Y-pipes.

Budget here. Installed a few weeks ago. No "bees in the can sound" no rattling. Yes, all Y-pipes from all the manufactures have had problems, but most have been solved now. When searching and reading post make sure you look at how long ago they were posted.
All budget pipes are SS mandrel bent.
I am sure warpspeeds product are fine, I just think Budget is a better deal.

When I made that post I did not mean to offend anyone, and if I did, I am sorry. I was just trying to save him some money. Before I made a decision on purchasing one, I did A LOT of research. I just found Budget to be the best deal, in my opinion. I am sorry if I offended anyone, it was not intended.
Good luck with your search,
Dan

Dude, don't be sorry. You just stated your opinion. I can't see how your comment would offend anyone. Well maybe Warpspeed.

DanSE I think a forum is for opinions..so you are in the right.

...But when you get your y-pipe and {installed} ...then you can really tell us how it is.

I use WSP products and have been happy, I went with WSP because of reseach and my friends all have em'

Learn from your buddies mistakes...You save money.>>!
