I just do not feel comfortable installing my procarparts FSTB with it resting on the AC line. Seems many have not had this problem -- guess my car is just weird. What bar can I get so that this will not be a problem? Looks to me like the Stillen one would work, but I don't really want to spend $200 for one. Let me know...thanks...

You just need to.....

tweek the a/c line ever so slightly to get clearance. The a/c line bracket nearest the clearance problem will bend slightly. If it clears by a 1/16th of an inch it clears by a mile. The Procarparts FSTB looks just like the Courtesy FSTB and thats what I did. Should work for you.

I have the one from procarparts.com amd you just have to bend the AC line down a little that's all and you will be fine OK?.......

Doesn't that fstb arch up like the others. Maybe it is upside down. I know i didn't have a problem with the ac line.

My Courtesy is the opposite >>>>

it is mounted so hi it doesn't rest on AC line but it touches the hood liner in 4 places.

My Stillen bar was just barely touching my A/C line, so I slightly rotated the A/C Line bracket by loosening the bolt where it attaches to the car. The A/C Line then dropped down slightly, I retightened the bolt and clearance is no longer an issue.

The Courtesy one does not hit the AC line. It does touch the hood liner (the padded part) a little bit though.
