not too many people like these because they look like stock eclipse gauges. The glow is stronger, but not as cool looking and original as my Superwhite indiglo gauges.

I have these. They rock! I've received a lot of compliments on them! They match nicely with the lights on my Sony MX-620 unit. The only problems I have is that the RPM needle jumps and the MPH needle lags a little bit. However, I installed it myself, instead of paying $160 to have them done professionally, and haven't had the time to go back and apply some extra 3M adhesive spray. It's a an excellent item though. You can even siwtch the color to green with the switch provided. Oh, on another note, you may want to have some extra wire handy if your not too handy with splicing wires since the stock wires aren't that long.

Did you have to remove the needles to install? The seller on ebay writes that you don't.

i actually had the same problem with my 1gen reverse glow gauges... and when i bought my aluminum bezel from custommaxima.com i reopened my dash again... i found out the problem is tat at the center of the needle there is a part where it's stickin out, also there is a hole on the stock gauges which sticks out, so the needles gets stuck when the glow gauges cover over the stock ones...

i did apply some 3M tapes over the stock ones so they are all the way down... i also use fingernail cutter and trimmed off some of the extra part of the center part of the needle...

hopefully tat helped =)

I put these on my car about a month ago. Love em.

I drilled holes for the oem screws and used a little super glue around the edges. no problems at all with needles sticking.

They slide right over the needles. No need to remove them.

I have them set to green. Looks nice with the blue led bulbs I put in.

Definatly a nice little mod to do. Worth the 30 bucks or so off ebay. Thats where I got mine, and 30 bucks is worth the hundreds of compliments, let alone the great look to mathc the HU in my car.

If your worried about installinhg them, and live near CT I will do it for you. Just bring a six pack, or a 30 for the matter..lol

It might just be me, but I think I noticed a difference between the gauges posted by happyricefob and these. The original picture shows 70mph at about 12 o'clock, whereas these show 80mph at about 12 o'clock. My '97 SE's stock gauges have 70mph at about 12 o'clock. Is it just the way I saw the pictures? Are they completely compatible (accurate speedo)? If it's not just the way the pictures look, a speedo could be off by about 10mph (but atleast it'll read 10mph over actual speed. People will just be wondering why you're driving so slow). Guess it is something to look at.

sharp eye, the pic was taken for the guages for a 5th gen max cause the files were too large for the 4th gen, I was just wondering what style people like better, with the green in the middle or not???

as dave said, the numbers are off from stock ones...stock one only goes up to 140 so your speed would always be wrong if you followed the numbers on there without adjusting the needle(if that's possible?).

those look good...perhaps that's a christmas or birthday present i'll ask for...

I have these, but I don't really care much for them. Maybe it's just me, but I thought that the "dark" areas on gauges would be....well....darker at night. Without the light and dark contrast, the gauges sort of loose something in appearance to me. Maybe it's the fact that left my bulbs in to light up my needles.

I originally won these from the ebay auction by procarparts. However, they said that these dind't fit due to a defect from the manufacturer. I guess that defect was the misplacement of the numbers, so they sent me the Fantasy spec ones instead. I get tons of compliments on Fantasy Spec ones.
