New to Maximas--Trim Line Question???

Im planning on buying a 4th gen maxima but im kinda picky about certain things...i really only want a manual trans. i can do without, but im not very fond of automatics at all. ive shopped around and i seen manuals here and there on all the models. im just wondering (since im new to them) which is the way to go... GLX GLE or SE. basically the best one performance/power wise? help!

all have the same engine...GXE 5spd will probably be the faster of all, because it has the lesser of all 3 options-wise...less options = less wieght....look at the top of the page in the FAQ for a further explanation....

also, no 5spd in GLE's

GLE doesnt have a governor, and SOME gxe's dont either.....besides, you can remove it in the gxe's that do

i dunno, i have an SE...and i say SE all the way too...but it is a little more money...

The FAQ details the differences.

Don't worry too much about trim level. Worry about price/mileage/options/colors etc....

im not too, too focused on the model but i just heard from a few people that some are faster due to the governors. im mainly fixed on getting the 5-speed... which ive also heard is pretty rare, but can be found on all models except GLE. so i dont think id get one of those. i was told by a few other people that an SE was the way to go, and i think you guys just backed that up, haha. but is anyone sure which ones come with a governor for SURE? and if so, how easily they can be removed.
