why doesn't somebody make a larger throttle body?

This has probably been talked about before. I see them for a lot of other cars and they are good for like 10 or 15 horsepower, it seems like one would be made for our cars. just a thought.

I never really thought about it, but that is a good idea. With an intake feeding it lots of air, that could be a really good addition to the Max. Also, they're usually not that expensive.

usually tb's don't help unless you get the manifold ported to match the tb. That becomes very expensive. You're better off getting an extrude hone on your manifold.

Because the Maxima TB is already something like 65mm... did you know that the Mustang GT is about the same size? In other words, our's is already pretty much oversized as it is.

I think that the Maxima's throttle body is already very large. I don't think that there'd be a gain with a larger one.

But what about what they did for the 5th gen? I heard they changed the intake manifold.

Yeah, but that doesn't have anything to do with enlarging the throttle body.

Ok i guess they didnt change the 5th gen's tb but could you exchange a 5th gen intake manifold for a 4th gen's?
