Need some help with VI

Guy for those of you that have the VI, I need to get a pic of the vacuum solenoid showing all the ports if possible. The one on hype's web site only shows it from the top, I picked up what I think is a vacuum solenoid off a toyota 1600 4banger(It looked like it had dual runners but I really couldn't tell.) So this may be some sork of wierd part, but I only paid 5 dollars for everything that I got, vacuum canister and check valve included.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

I'm confused... what do you need a picture of it for?

heh - that's a solenoid off of a 1987-1989 Pulsar, I'm betting.

Looks like Cranman took my advice and got them from a junkyard as well.

You are correct sir. I did the same as well, just adds that touch of a factory look to the install .

P.S. The solenoid PN is incorrect on your website (it's 14956-27M00).

Thanks guys, one more question, does the solenoid have to have a vent port? The one I found has what looks like an adjustment screw in place of the vent that is connected to one of the ports, maybe this is the vent. I don't know how it would vent out air though. I am positive this thing is a solenoid, I hooked it up to my battery and it clicked when I made the connection I'm going to test it some more this weekend and make sure that it is a vacume solenoid.

From what I gathered, yes, you need a vent port. This is so your acuator will close after the vacuum is switched off (basically switches the flow from the vac canister to open air).
