What's the difference between the 95/96 cat back and the 97+ catback?
What's the difference between the 95/96 cat back and the 97+ catback?
I've searched for "exhaust length" and "cat back length", but I still can't find any real info about why there are two different cat-backs for the 4th gen. Is it possible to put a 95 cat-back on a 97? I sort of remember reading that one version was a little longer, but I'm not positive. Thanks for your help. If you prefer, you can tell me the correct words to search for.....

97+ have an O2 thread whereas 95-96 doesn't... it is part of the CAT. When using 95-96 on a 97, you have to have an exhaust shop install and O2 sensor hole. When using a 97+ in a 95-96, you need an O2 sensor hole plug.
