Getting the maximum drop.
Getting the maximum drop.
I have DZ springs and they dropped the car pretty low. I'm not terribly impressed with the ride, considering DZ doesn't make a great coil.
Anyway, I am looking for a lower drop, I still have wheel gap. I refuse to have coilovers and air suspension is out of my budget. Which springs give the lowest drop, I don't really care about how rough the ride is. I used to have coilovers so I know what a rough ride is.
Thanks.
Yes I did a search and got bored after 2 mins of searching. I usually do a search anyway.

If you drop it more than 1.5" then your ride is going to feel like crap. You're going to hate driving. Get bigger rims to take car of the wheel gap. But if you don't care about ride there are springs that lower it 2" but I can't think of it right now. Oh well maybe I'll think of it later.
This is my old car. It had coilovers in it, so I'm used to a really rough ride.

I saw there was some debate on here weather or not Sprints are the lowest. I heard DZ are lower then Sprints. DZ claims it is dropped 2". But I think it's more like 1 3/4" drop.
I'm just trying to find out if I have the lowest dropping springs or if there is lower. I helped install the Sprints on Chris91se's car(He is this months Max of the Month). His **** is low and that's where I want to be.

I did that before on the Altima and it makes nasty "Clanking" sounds. The strut didn't fit correctly into the spring. When cutting I had myself and 3 master mechanics working on it. No good in my book. I've done moderate to heavy suspension work on 5 cars. Cutting the springs is not something I want to do again. Thanks anyway.
