car starting trouble......

car starting trouble......

I just got a 95 GLE and everytime I turn the ignition the car makes this "choke" sound as though the battery is about to die..I got a mechanic to check it out and he said it's not the battery so I'm wondering if anyone has the similiar problem with the car and know what it is?

depending on how many miles are on your car, I would search for instructions on cleaning your throttle body and do that. That might be cause of your problems...of course it could also be your spark plugs/wires...and stuff like that.

95's are prone to starter failures.
