i seen someone on the org with painted altezza lights, it was painted where the chrome part was, the chrome part was painted the color of the body of the car and the red circles still remained

i remember it looking real nice, but just want to refresh my memory

I'm glad that you posted that. I remember someone that did the sexima mod and didn't paint over the little sidemaker and I was thinking of doing it but with what did you cover the sidemarker during the painting? What did you use to make the shape of the corner light?Cause I'd like to keep the corner light even if I do the sexima mod.

 

if you do that mod, trade me your black chrome altezzas for my standered chrome ones. Im looking for a pair of black chromes, i think thell look better on my black max. just a thought.

 

does anyone have a write up of how to paint them, what kind of paint to use, where did you purchase the paint from, any special tips , technics?

Yes, go to http://www.towerpaint.com
They do a good job of matching your original color. I used their paint for my tails.

As for the side markers, yes--I included that in the masking so they would show up. I did a write-up of the process and posted it here. Just do a search on Altezzas. Though you may want to go with 2nd generation Altezzas, as the 1st generation ones were really cheaply made.
