Hey all how are you? I just picked up my Maxima from the lot in Wayne, NJ. Damn shipping company broke my right hand side mirror put some minor scratches on the rear left panel. First question, I'm real paranoid about doing mods. like I'm not sure how to install them, I know I can get most of them online with warranties and all but what about locally? A few problems that I noticed first of all I think there is something stuck in my dashboard because when I blast the heat it sounds like a paper in front of a fan? What the hell do I do about this? Also how can I get rid of the scratches and give the car a glossy look? Just use regular wax or are their other methods. I'm real broke lol but would like to start off with some minor mods preferably clear corners, new bulbs etc. The car has 79K miles on it so I don't know the service history what do you guys recommend? Thanks. Also how much would a new casing for a side mirror cost?

Many cosmetic mods are really easy. Go to www.maximadriver.com and click on the "how-to" section, this will also indicate difficulty of the mod. Also, check out www.vqpower.com as well for writeups on how to do many other various modifications.
