Need help right away!!!! Koni or KYB AGX

While my car is in the shop, I'm thinking of putting together a killer suspension. If you had your choice of damper which would you choose Koni or KYB AGX, and why????

I need to know soon, so any advice would be great.

Are the KYB/AGX out for the maxima yet?

AGX...

Should be out sometime this spring. Can't wait, either. They should cost less than the Konis, right?

i was in the exact same position as you 2nd max

KYB told me that the AGX model would be out by summer of 2001. i just couldn't wait any longer, plus i didn't want to mess with my car during school. the owner of lightning motorsport told me this when i asked him what he thought(please i'm not trying to start a war here): AGX's are cheaper and are the "best bang for the buck, they get the job done" but the koni's are valved stiffer and he felt that they are the better strut and that's what he used on his RX-7. so finally i got tired of waiting and said screw it and got the Koni's along with the new Sprint springs. i can't give you personal experience right now but i'll have this setup on my car next week and post my impressions.
