I know this is probably located somewhere but I don't ask too many questions around here. (Usually just pi$$ing folks off)

Did the 5 spoke 16" wheels that are (I think Standard) on the 97 SE come on any previous year SE's, ie 96-96?

Thanks for making an old grandpappy happy in his senility.

Thanks Ben and Miasma. I am thinking about buying a 95-96 thats why I am asking so I think I may keep the 97 until I get the new one so I can swap the rims before I sell it. Does that make sense? I noticed that all the 95-96's had those sawblade rims that I don't like so well.

Don't ask me why I am selling the 97 for a 95-96 its just an experiment for the racing season this year. It was either that or I was buying a 1.8T, I am getting a little experience with the Max now so decided to hang with it.

Is it because everyone claims that the 95-96 cars are faster?

Hey Ben you know I don't believe that stuff. I think they are a little lighter though and I am going to try some major weight reduction stuff. Plus my engine is getting a little tired.

I am going to get another automatic though, I still think they are faster once you hit the 13 sec mark. I want to get another SE too because they have the LSD here in Canada.
