Does anyone know if an 94-96 Apexi WorldSport cat back will fit on my 98?

It will fit but you will have to make a hole for the )2 sensor and the tip of the exhaust will be further inside of the bumper. It wont be flush or stick out. This is because 95-96 exhaust is shorter then 97-99 exhaust.

Any idea how much shorter? Anyone have a pic of an Apexi exhaust on a '97 or '98 with a nice side view where you can see where the end of the muffler sits? Thanks.

i have it on my 97 maxima. Dont get it its not worth it. Just get the greddy one. when you go over bumps it makes these knocking noise and it gets really annoying and also its shoter by like 1 and half inches. sorrie no pic mebbe next time.

I have a 98 with the Apexi WS exhaust, with Stillen y-pipe but without the knocking noise. And it is short by 1.5"-2" causing my Stillen right rear ground effects to be heat damage but no effects showing on the bumper itself. I plan on changing my ground effects later when i get the funds.

What you can do is go to a muffler shop and ask them to cut off the end of the muffler tip and weld on a new one that longer. Ofcourse this can run up to $100 so be careful. I'm doing something similair but I'm doing it to a Magnaflow muffler. Getting me a nice 3" tip, it's only 1/4" bigger then the 98 stock muffler. I'm not into big tips, 3.5" is the highest I'd go.

no its not really loud unless you have boosted maxima. if you have a na max its kind of quiet.
