Raw_Toast

My airbag light started flashing on me a few days ago. I did the search on here, found the airbag reset code, did that, and it worked...for a day. After it started flashing again, the code wouldnt solve it. I brought it to the dealer, the traced it down to some bad module that they are replacing under warranty. My question is this:

From all the threads I found about this, it seems to be pretty common, for those of you who had had this done, has the problem come back after time? My 99 SE has a biscuit under 50k on it. Should I expect it back around 100k when its not under warranty? Seems like these should be a total recall since it has to do with the safety system.

Also, my dealer, and all area dealers were out of them, I have to wait for thursday when the area (Chicago) distribution warehouse is back open. Its closed for the holidays, what the hell is that? The UAW getting holidays off, and so if you car breaks while its closed, your screwed?
