Ok, this has been ****ing me off lately!! Well, my antanae is retarded, it likes to go up and down when it sees fit. Well, my radio obviously gets ****ty reception at times. My question is, will i be just better off buying a new "regular" antenae to replace it?

I also have a new JVC 12disk changer hooked up through the FM, and i kinda get a little static and was wondering if that new antanae would cure it?

Anyone have this problem?!

Check to make sure that your audio system and the antenna is grounded properly. It could be a loose nut/wire for power or ground.

Also, make sure it's perfectly straight.
My antenna hit a low branch from a tree that had fallen down during a storm and it's never been the same since. I've tried to fix it but 10% of the time it still doesn't go down all the way..
