It can be reused.

Get a recharger kit (fancy name for "cleaning kit") from AutoZone/PepBoys/auto parts store and follow the directions.

You have to reuse it because you can't get another filter for it. JWT doesn't make a replacement filter for it.

Is it that new blue colored filter?? That's a K&N knockoff. I called up JWT and they said it's perffectly OK to use K&N recharge kits, or this stuff called simple green. Spray it on and wash it off with water, similar to what you do with the K&N rehcarge kit. Of course if you use the K&N kit, the filter will change color to the K&N red, or a slight mix of K&N red and the original blue.

I cleaned mt JWT filter today. the recharge kit costs $10 at nearly any car parts store. Not worth getting online, you will pay that much in shipping.

Simple green works great because its a non corosive degreaser (won't eat plastic or metal or....filters)and the oil is nothing more than batery terminal protector you can buy both these items for les than the recharge kit at a much greater quantity.K&N is making some money on those rip off kits.
