Nope acutally there is a ring that goes around the back of the flywheel and the speed sensor is on the engine. Maybe you are thinking of the TPS.

Unless the speed sensor is something else, your explanation makes no sense. Are you going to measure your speed by how fast your engine revs? No, it measures by how fast your differential spins inside the tranny. If you are talking about a different speed sensor, then I have no idea what you're talking about as I saw no such thing when doing my swap.

I don't mean to rude here but before asking these questions you would think you would look at the factory fly and that would answer your question..........

First off the sensor on the fly is NOT the speed sensor, that one is in your tranny... The one you are talking about measures RPMs and such... On the automatic you have a small disc that triggers it... on the 5speed the fly wheel's starting ring extends over to the sensor.. If you had attempted to put it on you would notice that it was that thick...

Skeelo told you what was up but you refused to listen... Im not quite sure why you would ask for help and then get an answer from someone with experience and then not listen...

As you might be able to tell if I was a girl I would be on the Rag right now... But damn use your brain...

Why dont you shut the **** up because you dont even know what you are talking about. I was told by a ****in shop that it was a speed sensor. I cant look at a manual flywheel because i dont have a stock one. I have an aftermarket if you would have read and it didnt come with the damn disk. So try not to **** people off with your ignorance. Have a nice day **** face.

Sorry bout that. Was in a very bad mood. I just wanted an answer not a lesson. But we straightened it out anyway. It was a ring that goes on an aftermarket flywheel which most of you didnt bother to do when doing the conversion.
