Nick...
Thanks!
Rims $355 shipped, Ebay
Tires $440 shipped, TireRack
M&B $80 (dam thats high) PepBoys
Spacers $15 Discount Auto Parts
Total ~$880

tmoutlawz...
Yea, 17's or 18's do look mutch better. But they are usually heavier, unless you are willing to shell out $$$ for Volks etc. Plus the larger diameter hurts your gearing and acceleration. I'm more into GO than SHOW.

Hmmmmmmm

Very nice!
I was getting ready to do the exact same setup (and considering 245 tires) but I held off due to not knowing the offset then (I'm guessing the 300ZX calipers won't fit under a 50mm offset, if I ever decide to do that) and the 1mm gap between centerbores of the Maxima and RX7.

After seeing this, I may reconsider

btw, what are you doing about centercaps? it looks like the driver rear has a gray cap, but the others don't. Did I miss that?

Thanks philpoe, I'm 2 of 4 now LOL!

245's wont fit with out getting 15mm spacers. H&R makes some that will work but they are ~250 for four spacers!!! At that point new aftermarket rims are with in the budget.

I'm not sure about the 300ZX calipers. I can measure for you. Just tell me what to measure?

The center bore is not that big of a deal, just be carefull to tighten the lugs in the propper order.

Yea the center caps... They dont fit becasue of the offset. I may send a diagram to Tire Rack to see if they can match them to any aftermarket caps that will work. For now I will get some silver paint and spray the rear caps and from spindels.

Life on a budget

Very nice. Me likes. You and I think very much alike. We both would like to have some good looks, nearly stock appearance, and lightweight for ultimate acceleration. I've got the Kosei K1s in the 16X7.5 size and love them. Your ride looks like quite the "sleeper" after reading all your mods I can't wait to get my Stillen front and I30 muffler with the "grandpa" turn-down tips. I love sleepers.

I like it

I don't think it's the best looking, but it should be perfect for performance. 16X8 I think is an ideal wheel size for the maxima. Acceleration and handling should be great.

They look good, but a little small. It's strange, b/c the 300zx wheels don't look small at the same diameter. Oh well, you can be satisfied when you're whipping *** at the track.
