use a better quality high temperature paint - that should solve the problem

i think painting with a brush is better, and allows a thicker coat
caliper painting kits should come with lacker
put as many coats as you can until the kit is finished
i think about 4 coats is good.

Cheap "Race" Brakes

I used engine paint... the kind I used was rated up to 1200f. It also had ceramic coating in it. I painted an engine I rebuilt with the same thing in another color and it looks great after 6000 miles of driving on the engine. And the brakes look great also, just that they're kinda dirty.

i used a black paint spray i picked at a local hardware store. i couldn't have been happier. choose black because of all the brake dust and other dirt. and red looks RICE!! (to me anyway). i might redo them in silver later on.

4 months and no peeling or anything. i put 3 light coats + one just to gloss it.
