Bilstein Engine / BG Tranny Flush Service

Has anyone done any of these services offered at dealerships? My car starts pretty rough but once it's warmed up it's fine. I'm considering these services as a potential remedy.

I did the Bilstein Engine Flush at my dealer last May at just over 74K on the odo at the time, and when the service advisor took me to the machine & showed me how much sludge was removed from the engine, unbelieveable w/ how much sludge buildup was inside my engine then.

However the engine flush is kinda pricey at $89, but it's very well worth it IMO

As for the Bilstein tranny flush, i haven't done that yet but I'd recommend that also, also pricey but at the same time you're extending the life of your tranny

But to each his own

i honestly like the engine flush, i did two on mine and it did take out alot of deposits i had in the engine, but then again it didnt cost me a thing. I can see how spending 100 on a flush is alot. The Tranny flsuh is good because when Nissan does a 30k service they only drain the pan fluid which is only 4 quarts not the 10 the tranny holds

I thought Bilstein makes suspension products? http://www.bilstein.com/

B&G makes products that you can buy yourself. Search the web for "b&g 44k" or "b&g flush".

I had the engine flush dones and the fuel system cleaned w/b&g @ firestone. I dunno if it made a diff cuz the previous owner had it done the day before I bought the car. I know the volvo guys love b&g and always recommend them for the higher milage cars (and you know volvos last longer than nissans!!!)
