Those who have Jeff's vb

I had Don's vb, and maybe I'm just being overcritical about it..

When Jeff's vb was installed, we didnt test drive it, we were installing the sc... so the first time i drove my car was boosted... anyhoo...

1-2 shift is quick, about what i expect
2-3 feels "slightly" quicker than oem, but u can definately feel the lag
3-4 is the same way, it's that slow shift.

I'm babying the 1-2 shifts just for the sake of prolonging my tranny life, and when under boost, the shift is right after 11 lbs boost, and i'm extremely afraid my tranny is being shredded in the course of that shift... it just doesn't feel right.

Also, if i'm in 2nd gear and punch it, my wheels spin from bobut 3-4k rpm, regain traction, and spin again near redline... I'm thinking the lack of traction is the reason that my tranny isn't shifting, it just bangs off the rev limiter smoking the tires. If I ease off the gas, it shifts, but once again, the slow laggy one.

The vb that I have is Jeff's stage 2 one that is beefed up a little more... I had what I thought was a tranny slippage, but I think it was the ****ty tires.. Tranny is 1 month old, rebuilt my nissan

Let me know what you guys think....
