Changing brake pads...but have question

Ok well seems that I have grinded my front pads or atleast the fron right pads to ****. NO clue what happened anyways...Just wondering if there are any screw on the back of the calliper that I have to turn to bring the piston back. I know you ahve to screw the rear callipers back. Anybody know if this is also required with the fron ones? Thanks!

no screws, just use a c clamp to push the piston back in.. make sure you do it evenly. Also make sure you've taken the cap off your brake fluid reservoir

I, too, just did rear rotors/pads, discovering that you have to "screw" the piston into its retracted position. Any thoughts as to why the front pistons would compress with a clamp but the rears require "screwing around"?

The rear ones require rotation while compressing the piston because they can be operated by the emergency brake cable, or the brake fluid.
