Stolen clear corner again!

Can't believe this happened again..
Today morning, I saw my diamond clear lens are gone.. I only had it for 5 months. Unlike previous incident(Fall 2001), they left harness and bulbs.. Guess, consider myself lucky at least.. Connecting those harness is not bad but still..
Anyway, I don't see the freaking point.. What's the point of stealing side lens only in first place? Guess I will keep piling up clear front lens. I am afraid to bolt in because if they really want to steal it, they will just pull it harder, right? And it will damage my bumper.. Any other solution? I heard someone got key on their car because they couldn't steal his lens.. Know any place they might sell side lens only?

Well, to make short story little bit longer..
I originally had regular clear lens which last pretty decent time.. If I remember correctly, I had it for 2 yrs at home town. After I took it to school, it was gone within a month. Then I decide not to put it back until I graduate and live at home because I felt my car are safer than school. Right after graduation, I installed Diamond lens which has been orded and dusted for while..
But I was wrong!
I think I lost it either at gym parking lot or home.. but one thing for sure.. Maxima became so popular among younger kids, guess, that's why it happening no matter where I park.

Remember that part that "clicks" on? Instead of using that piece that clicks, you screw a bolt into it from the back side. May not be the best idea, because an overzealous theif probably won't think twice about ripping up your bumper to steal the lenses.

My advice, get an alarm with radar, and combine that with not parking anywhere where there won't be people within earshot and line of sight on a regular basis (i.e. every 10-15 minutes).

This makes me so glad I live in podunk Eugene, where I have yet to see another hooked up Max or even any other Max driven by someone under 40.

Secure them! You do it from the inside, so if some1 does try to steal them, it will be such a pain in the ***, thats if they figure out how to do it, but that time hopefully your alarm will be going off like a madman.

Haha...
You should drive to Salem, and check me out. I think I saw about three other Max's that were hooked up. So that makes four. I think at least three of us are under 40. I know I am. The Max is a great sleeper car if you want it to be.

P.S. Salem is more podunk than Eugene... so sad...

Any suggestion? When this thing happened last time, I was looking for the alarm but not many of them comes with radar. I really want to upgrade from factory without loosing all the benefits of Trunk opener and roll down front windows..
When I search, I see some post with Viper(new one). Those are freaking $599 installed, but I saw it was under $200-300. Is it too difficult to DIY? If you do it yourself, would it avoid warranty?

Well, I'm running the Alpine SEC-150R or something like that. It has a dual stage radar, that monitors both the inside and the outside of the car. I had mine installed in Toronto for $500 Canadian. I use one of the accessory buttons for the trunk, so I now have two buttons that will open the trunk, the one on the Alpine remote and the stocker. I also keep my stock key fob with me for the window roll down as well as just in case my Alpine key fob starts acting up (HIGHLY unlikely, the stock one is more likely to fail) I can just disarm the alarm and still use the stock alarm.

As for DIY, I HIGHLY recommend against this. I wouldn't even recommend having just anyone install it. I would suggest getting intot he car electronic scene in your area to find out more about the installers in your area. As for the warranty, probably, unless you have an installers license.

Simple: Stay away from where you were when they were stolen.

Problem Solved
