where is the IACV?

Hi -

Last night I removed two objects from TB assuming that they will lead me to the IACV. However, I was unsuccessful to reach it. The picture in Haynes manual instructed me to remove what seems to be the IACV but may be it was the back part of it because an spring fell out and I am sure it wasn't the IACV. Where is this thing anyways?

thx,
M.

It's near the TB, it has 3 or 4 things plugged into it... do a search, there's pics

Thanks. That is exactly what I removed last night, the one with about 4 electrical connectors. But it was late at night and what I removed had three screws (Haynes says two) with brown plastic cover. The cover came in my hand and an spring fall out. Is this the back of IACV?

I think you managed to take the IACV apart instead of removing it. There are 3 screws that attach the IACV to the intake plenum. When you get it off, there will just be a hole into the plenum, no mounting bracket or plate or anything.
