Since late Sept. when i start my car and put it in neutral with the clutch out, it has a louder kinda like a whine noise, but when i put the clutch in, it goes away and gets quiet like it used to be. I also noticed that say im in 3rd or 4th gear and im slowing down and coming to a stop, if i push the clutch in and shift to say 2nd (with the clutch still in), i can really hear the tranny matching engine speeds.(at least i think thats what im hearing) Anyone know what this might be?? Im thinking maybe a rebuild is coming soon. Oh by the way i have 107k miles on stock tranny and clutch. Thanks!

take it to a tranny shop. you can check tranny fluid level yourself. i had a similar prob, fluid level was fine too. needed a rebuild, didnt seem the same as other shim related probs, but very well might have been.
