Please Help!!! Tb Cleaning Gone Wrong

I cleaned my throttle body and it all went fine, it's clean as a whistle but after waiting several minutes to let the clearer dry, i started my car. it was a little slow to start and now is showing an engine code and won't rev over 2500 RPM's. Please someone tell me this is something simple. Replies and being anxiously waited on. Thanks in advance.

You forgot to plug something back in. Probably the MAF.

When the car wont rev over 2500, that means the MAF is disconnected or broken. You may need to clean the MAF with some electronics cleaner (rubbing alcohol).

If you had searched in the first place, you would have gotten all your answers faster rather than waiting for people to reply.

I don't mind stupid quesitons, I just mind stupid questions that have already been answered mor than twice.

Then just don't reply man. I am running in here posting and then running back outside to work on my car. So I am not waiting for a reply, I am being productive while replies come. This is the reason I don't go to many forums, just because you know something I don't
is no reason for sarcasm. I am a good guy and I mean well, one day you may need my knowledge. can we please play nice? *smiles and goes back outside to find what is leaking on my 5 speed*

I am with you man. I been telling all the peeps about this but no one seems to care. People tend to Flame so much here I tought I was asking someting on a forum not on a search engine. I agree that there is questions that just are dumb like " will the free intake mod chip from ebay work on my car". See thats a sunb question. This one on this threat isn't I have never herd of this before, but now I now what to do when that same thing happen to me. I am not gonna post it cuz I know what the problem is.

took about 15minutes and a can of carb and throttle body cleaner. I used a long screwdriver aith a peice or an old rag wraped and secured to the end to get way up in there. Very clean now.

If you have an aftermarket intake, oo..10-15 minutes? 30 with the stock intake (more stuff to move out of the way). Maybe an hour if you're really slow and meticulous about the cleaning.

I understand about searching first! Most EVERY problem with 4th gen Maximas has been answered here before, (I mean it aint like they are new cars!) SEARCH is your friend......I had this 2500 rpm limit problem and search lead to to MAF probs. right away, if your a noob, READ THE FREAKIN FAQ's!! nobody likes to repeat the same answers over and over.....I figured that my prob. was MAF, and you know how? I read the FAQ's! I just verified it with a SEARCH! Quit cryin and use the system, it's set up for YOUR BENEFIT!!!

Do you know how silly you look right now? This thread is from January of 2003

Unless you're answering a that posted in here and then he (the newbie) deleted his post.
