I was wondering what kind of oil is best for the 99 SE. I haven't had to change the oil just yet in the 99, but on my old 93, I used 4 quarts of penzoil 10w 30. What oil is good and how many quarts for the vq? Thanks people.

Mobil 1 and Amisol are a couple of very good synthetic oils. I use Mobil 1 with OEM filter and have had no probs. I change my oil about every 6500mi. I think synthetic can last up to 8000 or even greater depending on how hard you drive your car, avg. ambient temp, and other various factors.

You will need 4.25q with filter change.
