97-99 grillle on 95

i have 97-99 fogs on my 95 and i would also like to get a 97-99 grille (the one in between the headlights) on my 95. Is there anything on the car that I would have to change or can I just take the old one out, and pop the new one in? here's a pic of the grille im talking about:

You have to shave the bottom of the grill 1/4", not hard on a painted grill, but pretty hard on the chrome ones. Not a really big deal, and it will clip right up.

I did it to mine...I had to take a lot more than a 1/4 inch though. And Vyrus is right...The chrome one I did was pretty hard.

I think the 95-96 looks better I was going to try and get one for my 97. I would try and do a trade with you but just put my car up for sale.

May I ask why? A lot of people were hoping you'd reach 12s.

Hey Cyrus, I am not quitting. I have been kicking around a bunch of ideas from a 2k2 Max to a 1.8T A4 or VW.

I am considering a 95-96 Max too because they do seem to be a bit quicker and of course I like the grill.

Going to have a completely new fuel setup though whatever I get, separate pump, FPR and Fuel Tank running C16. I have a new S-AFC II coming as well.

I haven't ridden off into the sunset yet, you guys are too good to me.

Well I hope you stick with us, but even if not I'm sure I'll hear of your insanely low times again.
