Brake Squeal
For a long time, whenever I brake from high speed, I get a lot of vibration and grinding.
So I bought some Brembo OEM rotors from Tire rack for the front with Hawk Peformance Pads, and took them to pep boys to install today.
I've been braking hard all afternoon since putting them in and the brakes are excellent. The car now stops on a dime. But now, late in the evening when I was coming home, I heard squealing coming from the front. The type of squealing you usually hear from the wear indicator on the pads.
These were $60+ pads, so they shouldn't freaking squeal. Any suggestions on the what the problems is or how to fix it?

i've noticed that large autopart stores don't include brake hardware anymore. But then again, I've heard that even dealers don't install the extra hardware. The extra hardware are shims and springs. Also, new pads don't call for anti-squeel lube...but back in 1995, I remember the dealer using it.
Times have changed. Kinda weird. If you're not happy, bring the car baack to pep boyz, tell them they're squeeling, and they'll put some lube in there. That should help for a while.
Also, isn't there a break in for pads/rotors? I think FSM says go 30mph and brake moderately till stop. Do that several times. I'm too lazy to verify, but it's something like that.

Actually, its when they were broken in, that they started squealing.
I'll wait longer, and hope for the best. I'm not going back to that pep boys, they were a bunch of ****** and made me wait four hours for something that only took them 15 minutes.
