help painting interior

Does anyone know about priming and painting your plastic interior? I found good products on Eastwood.com but am hesitant on going ***** to the wall. Lookin for some advise.

Not sure seems like you might save a few dollars but I would probably save up and get the kit or something
put some pics up if you do it though

I did mine about a year ago. Its not too hard, but you should definatley do a color test first. Just get the paint your're gonna use and paint a piece of wood or something to make sure that its the look you want. I originally did mine in a dark mindnight blue withz some metalic flakes. It looked fantastic, but then i was informed by many girls that blue and black dont go together, so i re did them in metalic silver. As far as how to do it, just take off all the pieces you want to paint (I did the 4 window switches, all 4 speaker grilles, the map holders, the 4 door hand things, the back of the door levers, and the rear vents) then just sand them down and go to town. I put on about 8 coats of paint and 8 of clear coat. Thats probably overkill, but i can use them as mirrors now. If you want to put the metallc flakes in, just give it a very quick spray in between the clear coat layers. I bought all the supplies i needed at the local VIP and it ran me about 40-50 bucks.
