Tune up time.

Time to tune up my max I was thinking bosch platinum plugs, new O2's, seeing as it's getting time to replace them, and changin the oil, and puting some injector cleaner in the tank(of coarse) can you guys tell me anything else? I was reading about cleaning the throttle body(or something to that affect) and a couple other things I can't remember. I've had the car for awhile but always took to the dealer for its service. last time it was 800$ and I don't wanna pay it again.

assuming that the plugs were changes at 60k, you will want to change to new plugs Preferably the factory NGK platinums. Bosh dont do too well with maximas so I heard.

Exactly what they said; NGK plugs only. I know from past experience that Bosch Platinums don't run well in a Maxima. I don't know the exact technical reason, but a Nissan service tech said it was about the resistance or whatever... Anyways, the motor is very happy only with NGKs for some reason. I seriously doubt you'll find anyone on this board who is happy with running anything else.
With your tune up, don't forget air filter, fuel filter, and the commonly overlooked PCV valve. Clean the throttle body (search on the .org for instructions), and check for codes from your ECU (again, instructions on here, just do a search or look in the FAQ).
You'll also need a dwell meter to set points, and don't forget plug wires!
(just kidding on the last 2).
