Air Bag Light flashing

My Air bag light came on exactly at 50,000 miles. Dealer relayed nothing is wrong just a nissan item to have you come in and get inspected. How do I reset this light. Anyone know?

The AirBag light does not come as an inspection indicator. It comes on when there is a fault in the system.

Have your SRS system serviced by a qualified SRS AirBag technition. Do not go to your local garage, they cannot service the SRS system. By law, you have to be certified to service SRS systems. Your local dealer is your best choice.

check for warranty coverage

My air bag module was replaced by the dealer under the major components powertrain warranty. Depending on the problem check your warranty coverage before you pay.

The dealer also replaced my air bag module at about 20k miles under the warranty.
