What do you guys average for 0-60 with a 5speed and all the bolt ons? Just wondering so i can compare my new converted car to them. Thanks,

My car has all the usual bolt-ons and with a stop-watch I can hit 60 in about 6.3 seconds. With the G-Tech, my best time was 6.0 seconds. Hope this helps.

Cartest shows that given standard I/Y/E and a 2.26 60' the car would run a 5.9 0-60. A stock 5spd with a 2.20 60' would run a 6.4 0-60mph.

What does cartest say for a stock Auto with a 2.35 60' ?

My best with my near-stock (K&N filter) Auto is 6.7 by the G-tech. You should be able to do 6 flat.

So what does a 5speed supercharged max do it in?

Well my car is pushing about 311hp at the crank. I'd say I could get to 60 in the low low 5's with traction. Problem is, my first gear winds out soo fast that I hardly have time to think. The wheel hop and lack of grip doesn't help either. I'm running the 3.33" pulley BTW.

I couldn't even imagine that. Acceleration must be obscene...in a good way

Not it wasn't littler buddy That was MotorTrend who tested their Pebble Beige SE 5spd, but it was running the stock 3.6" pulley which makes a huge difference.

"STILLEN Maxima Supercharger. Motor Trend Magazine tested one of our supercharged SMX Maximas (December 1998) and got the following results: 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds (stock was 7.4). Their ¼ mile time was 14.4 seconds at 98.8 mph vs. stock at 15.5, 90 mph."

His bad? I don't know very many people who couldn't break 14.4 in the quarter in a SMX max, including myself. And I don't drive stick

Yeah really. I assumed it was automatic when it said stock 0-60 was 7.4! That's almost a full second off of what even the dumb@sses at car and driver got for the 5spd Max. Stillen must really rake it in the butt when it comes to driving. Pathetic. I'm easily in the 13's, even with my newB launching skillz

That's still with a 6-1 FMU disc which keeps boost tight and torquey, at least 70HP to the crank. WIth all the other bolt-ons stillen did, that 14.4 is very, very pathetic. For the love of God, theblue hit 14.2 with i/y/e.

I don't drop it into lower gears often, because I need to keep my clutch alive until I can afford an ACT. But when I do, it's pure heaven. Saturday night I took my friend for a ride. I dropped it into second at 40mph. Not that big a deal right? The car jerked violently to the left then right and took off like a bat out of hell. I almost lost control of it. It put a huge smile on my face. I always have to hold the steering wheel with both hands when downshifting to keep the car under control. FINALLY, big V8 performance in a small Japanese family sedan! Woohoo

The only thing better then the speed is the incredible sound of the BOV and blower, and the insane looks I get at stoplights and gas stations.
