Transmission question.......

When does it come to a point where even a VB mod won't help/save your transmission. I know this mod it meant to improve performance. But is there a time where getting one on a bad tranny is just a waste of money. My tranny isn't slipping yet, but the shifts aren't as smooth as i would like and the lag time is beginning to annoy me. Thanks for all of the input people.

well first off, a vb mod makes the car shift harder, not smoother, more racelike.....and it's kinda like quazi performance/life extender....i'm sure one won't hurt, but you need a tranny cooler, new solenoids i bet would do wonders for you, or if you didn't want to do the vb, the solenoids itself would do wonders, the solenoids control the fluid distrabution throughout the vb, and i've heard actually after like 60 k your suppose to replace them, my tranny is fine so far though with my vb mod (knocks on wood), and soon to have tranny cooler
