I don't get it. Dash clock now sets itself to 1:00 upon starting the car. The memory in the radio works, so its not like the battery is dying/disconnecting. Does this happen to anyone else? Where should I look for a problem? Thanks.
Check the your flux capacitor. The speed sensor on it is set too low. The optimal setting is 88mph. If you have it set too low (maybe 20mph) it will activate the flux capacitor and cause your maxima to travel through time.

ok sorry to be mean but ill try to help now. i would double check the battery connection, u never know, if not then u may just have a bad clock. they are cheap anyways

are you sure u haven't dumped enough garbage in ure fuel tank?
I got my flux capacitor from the Dr. Brown's second group deal. I heard there was a problem with the time distortion regulators in the kits from the first group deal. If the time distortion regulator goes bad. Time would seem to stand still. Therefore it would be 1:00 all the time. Hope this helps.

No no no... you guys got it all wrong. The flux capacitor only keeps the radio memory. The difibulator is what makes the car keep time.
Seriously, try this.. Start your car and set the clock. Let it sit over night. The next morning, turn the ignition to ON but don't start the car. Does the clock show the correct time? If so, the clock is working correctly. Next start the car, does the clock lose time? If it did, your battery may be getting weak or you could have a weak ground point someplace.
A weak battery may start the car but with a large enough voltage drop to effect some accessories. The radio might hold it's memory while other simple devices such as the clock might lose it.
