I had changed my oil about a month ago and have stored my car since then..I decided to take a look at the dipstick and it had showed that i had overfilled . The oil go over the H on the dipstick. Is this a problem or no? The Car hasnt been driven since the change. Thanks in advance.

If it is just above the H on the dipstick I wouldn't worry about if it were my car. I have done that before and never had any problems.

I have found that it does take a very long time for the oil to settle in the Max before you can get an accurate reading from the stick. When changing, I always put the recommended amount of oil in (4.5 quarts I think?) then maybe check the dip stick a couple of hours later. If you think you are more than a half quart over full, or if it's going to bother you until the next change, you can always remove the drain plug a let a bit run out. It's a bit messy on the hands but should only take a few minutes. I had to do that once when the "oil change place" put too much oil in.

Remember that once you start your car the oil will flow into the empty oil fiter and a portion will remain there after you turn the engine off again. Then you will have a little less oil in the pan.
