foglight question

Whats up everyone, this is my first post. A rock jumped up and took out the passenger side foglight on my mother's 99 Max, but the light still works. I haven't looked at it yet, but is it possible to separate the internals from the "shell" or is it all one unit? If possible, I'd like to try and buy the shell to save money. Thanks.

Can you elaborate on internals and shell. The housing should have its own part number with Nissan. The bulb sockets and so on have their own part number and so on and so on... Your best bet sounds like a junk yard honestly. Welcome to the ORG. You will find that the search function will be you best friend.

Thanks for the welcome. I did a search but didn't get the answer I'm looking for. What I mean is I think that since the light still works that I only need the actual glass. I'm at school now so I can't even go look at it, I know my best bet is a junkyard or maybe Ebay.

If you are talking about the glass from the plastic housing...No. One unit (passenger side) will run you approximately 75-100. Pricey! I would try Courtesy Nissan instead of a dealership.
