Maximum 16" Tire Size??
Question: I have a 1997 Maxima SE with the 16" Tires. Stock size was 215/55 R16. I currently have 225/55 R16 with no clearance
problems. Need to replace tires and find the 55 series to be very difficult to find and expensive. The 60 series appears to be more popular. Does anyone know if the 225/60 R16 will fit wheelwell with no rubbing etc.. I am aware of odo. error etc.. That would result in a slight decrease in registered miles. No big deal. Thanks alot!

Yes it will fit, and there wont be an rubbing, the tire is just taller, not wider. I dont think anything would rub...
225/60-16 is a mighty big tire for the Max, my mom has that on her Concorde.
You can try tire rack, they have plenty of them for well under $100 (225/55-16) or even the 225/60-16

Would stock 05 altima 16" steel rims and the 215/60r16 tires fit my 95?
Also, how is the offset compared to my stock 15" steel rims?
tire diameter is 26.2 for the 215/60r16 and 25.5 for the 205/65r15 i have on there.
Just want to make sure theres no rubbing or far out offset that reduces wheel bearing life.
