neon underbody kit, blinking with alarm....bad?

i'm a few days away from receiving a plasmaglow purple kit from shadow and was thinking of having it hooked to the alarm so when i unlock doors and lock doors through alarm or when the alarm goes off, the neons blink with the rest of my lights. I know neons are illegal and i dont see myself being next to any cops when they go off, but i'm concerned that they may damage with the quickness in blinkness and what not. Has anybody done this and does anybody see anything bad happening through this?

this is possible, but im sure it cant be good for the tranformer. And i doubt Shadow will warranty these for you if they were to be wired this way. Id check with him 1st on that.

But if you do go ahead with the install, all you would need is a relay and a flasher
