axles

my CV boots are torn for a while now so i think its probably better to change the whole axle. I searched around but couldnt find the steps to do it. Is there a good writeup with pics on replacing axles?

yes, there's a great writeup in both the Chilton's and Haynes manuals.

It's as easy as pie.

Well, it's easy if the passenger axle bearing isn't rusted and stuck in there..... A 1 hour job becomes a 4 hour nightmare trying to pull the passenger axle out
