Some guy ran into my Maxima :(

Wow...I haven't been here in a long time. Well...a few weeks ago this guy forgot what a stop sign was for and ended up running into my Maxima and completely tearing off the front right fender and doing some other damage, door is bent slightly, about $4000 of damage overall. At least his insurance is being cooperative and my check in on the way.

Oh well...just thought I would stop by and let you all know:

For Sale: Right Front Fender for a 97 Nissan Maxima, Deep Forest Green, Slightly Used :P I don't even think I could get away with that on ebay lol.

Damage isn't really that bad at all. Everything is replaceable, pretty much bolt on it seems. And since the guys insurance is paying for it all, I made them use OEM parts. I have to go with a certain repair shop (luckily they work with the people I use) and the check has to be signed over to them basically...so I can't even hope to make out with any leftovers.

Woah! I just checked out that parts website and it is pretty good. My rear lh door got smashed in the other day and I am working with the driver's insurance now. My question is is all I need is the skin for the door? Is that just the body part where the protective strip is? That is the only part of the door that needs fixing. It costs $80 on that site. Also, anyone have any idea how hard that is to replace, DIY?
