Hybrid

I have a questions, why is the frankencar intake called a hybrid? Is it combining a new, unrestrictive midpipe, and a popcharger?

Thanks

the "original" hybrid intake conisted of the upper piping from a cold air intake and a cone filter from a popcharge, hence "hybrid."

the current design basically uses a pipe to a cone filter.
