Call the dealer
Call the dealer and say you are looking for an SE gauge cluster and ask for the price. When they give you the price, compare that with the one that is for sale that you are looking into buying. (Little Maxima Owners tricks).

I'm sure that the dealer price will be 3 to 4 times that. I wanted to know if anyone has bought one from a junk yard and if it was a good deal for a USED one. Also, is there any difference between '95 and '97?

I have a 95 GLE and did the same thing you are trying to do. I got my cluster at a junk yard for $75.00 out of a 96se. It just plugged right up. However, I switched out my odometer so it would still be correct. Refer to MaximaDriver.com's colored guage face install to do this.
