how much louder will it be w/ a b pipe?

I want to get a few more hp out of my car and I know a b pipe wont add too much, but its one of the few bolt ons left to mod with. I already have intake, y pipe and stillen muffler... I find it to be pretty loud already and how much louder will it be if i get a b pipe w/o resonator and how much difference would it make with a res.? Just dont want it to get TOO TOO loud, thanks

Get rid of the STILLEN muffler and get something quieter, then put on the b-pipe...

Which stillen muffler is it? Cause I'm looking to go with a Budget y-pipe, some b-pipe, and a muffler soon, and contrary to most people here, I want people to hear my Max scream. (in a powerful way, not painful). Thanks.

I have a Stillen b pipe along with an HKS muffler (quieter than Stillen but louder than OEM) and the noise level jumped substantially when I installed it. It was too much for me, I had an 18" resonator welded into it. Now it's juuuust right.

It's not too loud for me now, I am just wondering if I get a b pipe w/o a resonator if it will make much differnce from how it sounds already. stephenmax, did you just go to a exhaust shop to have the resonator installed. And I dont want to get rid of the stillen muffler since it was quite pricey. OR should I get a budget B pipe w/ a resonator? I cant let the car get much if at all louder, (dont want people to complain) Not that my neighbors mustang 5.0 with headers, H pipe and flowmasters isnt too loud... At least the ground doesnt vibrate when my max rolls down the street.

Yes. It cost about $75 I think.

you will definitely hear the difference when you add the b-pipe. i was running the same setup as you, the b-pipe was the last addition to my exhaust and it made it much louder, i liked it though, it was nice and deep.

I went to a muffler shop and now i only have a pipe going from the cat to 2 mufflers, its pretty damn loud. i drove through a parking garage in phili and set off 7 car alarms, but its nice and deep, and while travelin on highways exhaust is very low...the wind is louder. I say get the b pipe without resonator.
