Thanks Alot!

I have had my 1995 SE since it had 51 miles. It currently has 140,000 and it had started to get a little boring (especially after taking out my bother’s NSX a few times!). Since I can’t get a new car for a few years until I finish law school by the wife’s order I decided to liven up the old ride.
I started reading this forum a few weeks ago and just installed a Courtesy FSTB and a JWT Pop Charger. The car certainly feels and sounds a little better but thanks to listening all of you enthusiasts I have also received my first speeding ticket in over 5 years. I just got a fine for $120 for driving 90 in a 65 and I didn’t think I was driving that fast let alone racing somebody.
Just my $.02 on upgrading, its been worth it!
Also has anyone cut the length of their shifter? Please reply with Pros and Cons. I was considering this for its asthetic value.

next upgrade: RADAR DETECTOR!!
yeah, I cut about 2" off the top of my shifter, about 1/2" below where it gets thicker. Your stock shift **** won't fit on it anymore once you do this, so go out and buy a nice shift **** first.
In order to get the stock **** off, you'll have to wrap it with a towel and use a set of channel lock pliers or something, because it's *glued* on.
To cut the shifter, just use a simple hacksaw... I started with a finer blade to get the cut started and switched to a coarser blade to hack thru it. Use a plastic bag (poke the shifter lever thru it) to catch all the metal shavings. Now all you have to do is wrap electrical tape around the top of the lever for the new **** to fit snugly (no use for the rubber fittings it comes with).
It makes the shifter feel alot sportier, the throws feel somewhat shorter... I like it alot. Well worth the 30 minutes effort!
