Does your car idle at 500 rpms? I don't know if I have just never noticed mine but the CE is off and I just sat at the light in Neutral and saw that I was 500 rpms.

 

mine idles at 500-700 yup nothing wrong with that

my V8 can idle at 400 and feel fine

 

That's awesome. I was almost going to take it to the dealership to get looked at. It's weird cause my CE light was on before that and I jumped out and disconnected the ignition coils one at a time and put them back in and that solved the problem but then I noticed that and was like umm is that right.

 

do you know what code the CE light was spitting? it might be something else, but if its off now guess you can breathe easier

 

I wish mine was that low. Since my car is newly converted it sometimes idles at like 1100.

 

it was spiting a 0201 its the ignition coil code.
