funny starts....

Started today after work...I go to start the car and it makes this funny sound...like I'm trying to start an already running car..(but it wasn't), it started up on the second try. It did this again about 1/2 hour ago...2am, is this the famous crank sensor issue? or what?

Regrease your starter. www.motorvate.ca The bendix gear isn't sliding onto the flywheel quick enough causing it to grind.

I had the same noise when I started my car too. It only happened when it was cold outside. I ended up taking my starter apart and re-greased it. That took care of the problem.
